Fabulous lash mascara

As you all would have seen in my previous post I went shopping yesterday. I really needed to buy some new mascara but I had other things I also wanted to get so I didn't want to spend much money on it at all. Once in Supderdrug I came across this mascara by Miss sporty and I haven't really heard anyone mention any of there makeup products before so I thought I would try it out. Now this mascara only cost me £1.99, yes ok your all probably thinking why on earth would  buy mascara at that price it's definitely not going to work but if it does work than you will all thank me forever.

Right, so I used this mascara this morning and I have to say its still going strong, there are no bits under my eyes, good sign? The actual brush is very standard, which is to be expected at this price but it doesn't pick up that much mascara from the tube meaning you gave to keep dipping it in. As for the smell it actually smells a bit like licorice which isn't too great, unless of course you don't mind having licorice smelling eyelashes. I did find that when applying the mascara it does work reasonably well enough to add length and separate your lashes but if you wanted to add a lot of volume a number of layers of this stuff would be necessary. Another thing I found was that it does smudge above the eye quite easily when applying and it seems to take longer than normal to dry, not good if your in a hurry. 

Overall this definitely isn't an amazing product, but to be honest i wasn't expecting it to be. The product would be fine for a very casual look as it does open up your eyes but I would definitely not recommend this product if you wanted a more formal look.
