When it comes to creating your holiday playlist is it just me or do you forget every single song in history and end up putting a load of eighties pop in your ipod that you don't really care much for? Well thats definitely something that I do, so I thought why not put pen to paper, or in this case fingers to keyboard (doesn't have the same ring to it, does it?) and let you in on a few songs which I have added to my holiday playlist. Now I know that your music taste may be completely different to yours and if it is well there's not much I can really do about that, but maybe this will give you a little inspiration and get your brain into gear so you can put songs on your ipod that you do actually enjoy. Enough rambling, lets get on with it ay?

Ok so I am a little late on this post, I wanted to write a post on monday when I got the album but I just didn't seem to have the time, but now I can talk about it to you all, aren't you lucky. Bastille has to be my all time favourite band at the minute, I have been following them for around a year now and I can even remember the first time I ever heard them and exactly what I was doing, I just fell in love with the lead singers voice, Dan Smith. So anyway monday was the day that they released their debut album and I simply had to purchase it, no questions about it. I arrived at Hmv and took the first album of the shelf, dedication right? I then had to go  to college so I wasn't able to listen to it until I got home later on. ( am I boring you with this story? shall I just get on with it and tell you about the ablum? yeah I think I might)

I have done a post once before about another song from this band and I decided to do another one because I just think they are pretty darn fanstastical. This song is called 'woman' by The 1975, although its a really slow and moody song I cannot stop listening to it, ahhhhh it just makes me want to be able to sing and stuff.

There are quite a few songs at the moment which are pleasuring my ears so I thought I would stick them all into one post, yay.

Im sure many a person has heard this son as it is currently on two adverts but I am an absolute sucker for folk inspired music. This is an American folk band called the lumineers and this song Ho hey is just so beautiful and makes me happy and want to sing along.

This next song is by a band called We are the ocean and they are amaaazing! this song is just so powerful and one that needs to be played extremely loud, oh and by the way this song is called young hearts, have a listen.

ok, I only heard this song for the first time yesterday would you believe and I could not love a song any more at the minute, its just so good. The song is called sex (naughty) and I just find the music just makes me want to play an instrument and join in, so good!

I am sorry if I bored anyone with my long song alert but there are just too many good songs at the minute!

Hello fine people of the internet world, just thought I might introduce you all to a song that I have been listening to constantly in the past few days:

I really love this artist, whenever I listen to him I just find myself being really relaxed and almost as though it could make me fall to sleep, in a good way of course. So this is my favourite song by City and Colour, see what you all think.

I can not stop listening to this song, its one that get stuck in your head and you find yourself singing it constantly ( well I do anyway). Of Monsters and men is a seven piece band from Iceland. They are soon to be doing a small tour around the UK so if you get a chance why not check them out. :)
